Who we are:

David Barker and Associates Ltd. (DBA) began as a Canadian incorporated company in 1992. The role of DBA has expanded from forestry and natural resources to include environmental and social issues relating to resource development. Clients include indigenous groups, resource companies, individuals, banks, provincial, and national agencies. To date, the principal, David Barker has 40 years of experience in North America, the Far East and Latin America.
Dave is fluent in Spanish. Before 1992, He was a natural resources consultant and a forester/forest technician in the business sector.

Customer service:

Client needs come first. All projects start with in-depth discussions with customers to clarify the project terms of reference and determine goals and activities. We ensure continual contact with clients throughout the project to ensure their needs are met. On-going contact leads to reports and advice that meet customer expectations of excellence.

Networking:

To achieve client requirements and expand services, DBA has entered into associations with a natural resource consultant, a reforestation firm, a land remediation company, and an environmental auditing organization.
